There’s no time to get tired of the same old places when you live in the middle of a thriving local economy! New restaurants, bars, boutiques and activity centers are popping up all over. And they’re just a couple of miles from new homes in The Falls, where residents have easy access to Town Center and everything they need.
Here’s a quick list of the exciting new businesses opening up this season, according to recent reports by Community Impact.
Sabbatical - 4.5 miles
Owner of Hop Scholar Ale House opened Sabbatical in late October. Located directly adjacent to Hop Scholar Ale House, Hayden said the new bar is an extension of his original venture and boasts a variety of high quality whiskeys, tequilas, rum and other liquor, which can be served straight up or in handcrafted cocktails. It also offers a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, loaded fries and specialty hotdogs.
Peli Peli - 6 miles
Coming to The Woodlands Mall is a South African fusion restaurant, which is influenced by Dutch, Portuguese and Asian cuisines and serves dinner, lunch until 4 p.m. and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays until 4 p.m. Some of the restaurant’s signature dinner entrees include Estapada, Peli Peli Curried Chicken, South African Kingklip & Scallops and Cape Town Skillet.
Analisa Hastings - 4.5 miles
Analisa Hastings will celebrate its relocation from Tomball to 27326 Robinson Road, Ste. 201, Oak Ridge North, with a soft opening Nov. 1 and a grand opening open house Dec. 2 from noon-4 p.m. The business offers special occasion hair and makeup both in studio and on location, and partners with Shannon Reece Jones Photography, which occupies the same space and offers in studio and on location photography services for a variety of occasions.
The Woodlands Enrichment Center - 6 miles
The Woodlands Enrichment Center will open Jan. 7 at 25218 Grogans Park Drive, The Woodlands. The new center will combine the programming of Play Smarter Kids, Kindermusik and The Woodlands Academy of Music—all currently located in the same shopping center—under one roof. All three will close during the winter holidays and reopen in their new 6,000-square-foot space in January. Pre-enrollment began Nov. 5, according to a news release.
Drybar - 6.3 miles
Drybar will open a new 2,331-square-foot location Nov. 8 in Market Street, 9595 Six Pines Drive, Ste. 425, The Woodlands, Market Street officials confirmed Oct. 30. The salon will feature 10 styling chairs and will offer Drybar’s full style menu and in-shop services, including the classic blowout, as well as professional hair-styling products and tools.
Snooze: an A.M. Eatery - 7.8 miles
Snooze: an A.M. Eatery announced Oct. 10 that it would be opening a new 4,400-square-foot location at 2415 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands in summer 2019. The Denver-based breakfast and brunch restaurant will offer a variety of fare including their famous pineapple upside-down pancakes, unique benedicts and creative morning cocktails including mimosas and bloody marys.
Chefs for Seniors - 1 mile
Senior care provider Chefs for Seniors opened Oct.15; its services are available in The Woodlands, Conroe and Shenandoah. Personal chefs visit seniors, veterans and disabled residents to cook nutritious, customized meals at their client’s home. Chef and franchise owner Laurent Vals said the new home care chef service would make a positive difference in the community.
