Check Out These New Restaurants Opening Near The Falls

We’re proud to say that the variety of culture and food is abundant around The Falls. It helps being in a great location near trendy hubs like the The Woodlands Town Center and Old Town Spring. Not to mention, new businesses on the rise is a good indicator of whether the neighborhood is stable and worth an investment. So here’s a bit more to be excited about. Check out these new eats opening within 10 miles of The Falls!

 

Big City Wings

The Houston-area chain Big City Wings opened a new restaurant in the Harmony area of Spring on April 8. The eatery, located at 3555 Rayford Road, offers food, including chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads and crawfish. Beer, wine and cocktails are also served

Wunsche Bros. Cafe & Saloon

The historic Wunsche Bros. Cafe & Saloon, which has been closed since 2015 due to fire damage, is slated to reopen in the fall, according to a banner hung across the restaurant’s front porch over the weekend of April 13-14. The historic building first opened in 1902 and is located in Old Town Spring at 103 Midway St., Spring.

Bayou Blake Boiling Hut

Bayou Blake Boiling Hut, a Cajun seafood shop, plans to open April 13 at 25219 Oakhurst Drive, Spring. The restaurant serves seafood for pickup or delivery and features flavoring from Louisiana’s Blake Landry, the creator of Bayou Blake Gator Shake seasoning.

Millie’s Southern Cuisine

The Millie’s Southern Cuisine food truck plans to reopen in Spring on May 10. The rebooted truck will set up shop at 1810 Rayford Road and offers Southern-style chicken, sides and desserts, including banana pudding cheesecake and Louisiana pecan pralines.

Killen’s Steakhouse

Killen’s Steakhouse opened its first restaurant in The Woodlands area April 26. The new location at 1700 Research Forest Drive in Shenandoah features a menu including aged steaks, chicken, pork, seafood, side dishes and more than 700 wine selections. Owner Ronnie Killen said the new restaurant will blend the offerings of his original Pearland steakhouse and the barbecue-focused Killen’s STQ in west Houston.

Clean Juice

Clean Juice opens for its first full day of operation in The Woodlands on April 22, following a soft opening week of abbreviated hours through April 20. The juice bar, located at 6777 Woodlands Parkway, Ste. 320, serves a slate of juice blends and cold-pressed bottles in addition to acai bowls and other snacks. Clean Juice, founded in 2014, is the first juice bar franchise to be USDA-certified organic.
